Framed Double Full Dress "Jock Scott" Atlantic Salmon Flies, Atholville, NB, Canada. I purchased this from a well know tyer with the last name of Arsenault who owned a fly shop in Atholville, New Brunswick, Canada around 1999. This is a double and single individually shadowboxed framed full dress Jock Scott--flies. Single and double examples of what is the most amount of original material there are for the complete recipe for this type of Victorian pattern. Nothing is left out. It has aged nicely besides.
I want to add that this was not Clovis Arsenault of the same town. Nonetheless, the artisan is a production tyer for decades in that area. Collectors will recognize the name of Jean Claude Comeau from nearby town of Campbellton. He was from that group of production tyers and very were famous for their own patterns. Very nice indeed.
